...but I'm sorry for complaining due to what is awaiting us back in PA! Snow...yucky!!!!
Gordon went out in the ministry to return on the gentleman that he met on Monday..."I was waiting for you!" the man said!!! What?!?!?? How often does that happen. He began a Bible study with him, and he saw the man later that day when he rode his bike past the Kemps.
Gwen and I were at home cleaning because Arlene was using the Kemps home for a gathering for the pioneers this evening...Gwen caught up on laundry as well...
So Henry and Gordon return home with what else?!??! Food, they bought from the side of the street! LOL
That's right...chicken feet!!!! The first time for both! LOL Also bbq chicken, rice and beans and cole slaw!
They didn't like it!!!! Go figure! LOL
Gordon then had a hankering for coconut and noticed a tree at the next door neighbors. So he goes outside and asks for one, and the man told him that he could go up and get one, "I can't do that!" Gordon said, so that man laugh and got him down two coconuts. Gordon was extremely happy!
Side note! To show how dusty it is here, Gwen washed their van yesterday, but it became dusty so fast, that someone wrote on the back of it! LOL...they thought I did it! SMH...I only noticed it!
We then heard some drumming on the side of the house...two little boys was tearing it up on the bottom of a clothes basket!!!! They was jammin'!
Okay, back to the coconuts...how do we open them?!??! The neighbor was kind enough to open them as well! Gordon got out his coconut milk...me, I don't like it warm!
So now he needs them opened to actually eat the coconut...so two young brothers stopped over Christopher and Nathan...the Kemps have a machete in the back of the their car (yea can you believe that! LOL) so they got to cracking!
Guests began to arrive for the gathering, and as normal Arlene put her foot in the food...I think I tasted a toenail! The potato salad....Ughhhhhhhh! It was amazing!!!!
Gordon as normal started to harass the kids, while I slipped away to our air conditioned room. It was kind of cool, I overheard Gordon talking to Newton, Arlene's husband, and encouraged him to begin his study again. Newton said that he was ready for a life change, that he was sick of the same old bad life....
Gordon then came in to check on me and got hooked by the A/C himself...so that's a wrap. Good night! LOL
